does anyone have access to the 1994p Matte Jefferson nickel NGC census figures,and if so can they post them here? -i really need these numbers and will now mail a silver dime to the first person that can give me a screenshot of the ngc census figures for this Edited by XavierOfGreen

It looks like it is 167,000 matte finish 1994 nickels
The 1997 matte finish nickel 25,000
This is from a web search, not official sites but saw the same number twice

thanks for the mintage figure
i have the anacs census figures but they tend to grade these more strick than the other companies and have graded no ms-70's
ive seen ngc-70's on the market before though and have a number of the 1994 mattes that id like certified, but I'm trying to figure out what my odds of getting a 70 from ngc or pcgs are before I decide which to send them to

Sorry if I read that wrong, I was thinking you wanted the coins mintage.
I am not sure how to get the population numbers from PCGS and NGC. I am not into slabs.
I think you are right, seems like some on here would know how to get those figures.

No screen shot ...... but here are the PCGS Population Report #'s .... PCGS coin # 84230 ... Total certified ...... 1795 MS70 ..... 11 MS69 ..... 1436 MS68 ..... 253 MS67 ..... 58 MS66 ..... 16 MS65 ..... 12 MS64 ..... 7 MS63 ...... 2 This is by far the highest # of matte finish Jeffersons certified by PCGS ..... I wonder why?  HTH David |

Anacs has had less than 100 of these things certified with no ms 70's but with only 11 certified by pcgs as ms70 I think I have about the same odds with any of the services. Who knows maybe ill be the proud new owner of the anacs top pop of these things :)
