Hey all... I am trying to get on to order a pair of the buffalo proofs, but I cannot get to that page at all.
"An internal server error has occurred. If you would like to place an order you can always call 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). Sorry for the inconvenience."
Tried calling them, option 1 to place an order and it is something like "We are unable to answer your call, please call again later." Well aparently you can't ALWAYS call that number... kinda has me frustrated.
Anyone else trying to order any having problems?

I think everyone is trying to place a order at the same time and their servers cant handle it. But I kept hitting refresh and I am now on the page to order them

Now I am getting "The United States Mint is performing system maintenance. During this time period you will not be able to use the website. To place an order please call 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). Sorry for the inconvenience."

I just checked again and it says they are preforming system maintenance and during this time you wouldn't be able to place a order online, good thing I got my order in before they did this, seeme they are going to have a strong following on these things from the way the website was so bogged down when they first went on sale

Would be sad if they sold out before 90% of the folks who want one can get them ... They should have put a 1 coin per customer limit on them instead of 10 ... I'm at work and cant afford to spend an hour straight on redial

The mint needs to get its act together regarding taking of orders.
Wow, What a cash cow this is for the Government. The least they could do is make ordering much easier.

Website is VERY slow ... The availability column of the checkout page says 'backordered' ... Not sure exactly what that means. I'm mid-checkout right now... crossing my fingers!

If I could have afforded it I would have went ahead and ordered my 10 and could have had enough for everyone here that wanted one but there is just no way for me to do that with the recent purchases of morgans I have been making
edited to add I dont think everyone's presumtion that this wouldn't do well and would possibly be the next 1995-W silver eagle isn't going to be the case with this thing

Why does West Point use an 'F' for their mintmark?

they dont, look behinf the indians head you will see the "W" the F must be the guy that made the srtwork for the coin The Bullion coin must not have this Mark from the pictures I am seeing of the Bullion version. Maybe its because thats the only place they will be minted so they thought no need to put a mint mark on it, I really dont know I am just speculating
