I know the pic isn't great, I'll work on that. This is a coin from a lot that was advertised as dateless SLQ's. There was also a 27 D in the lot with a clear 7 and clear mint mark, and partial 2 before the 7.

If you look at the pic - can you see the 1? The coin is worn and well circulated, but the 1 is much clearer in person than this pic. I can also make out the 2 alongside the 1, even without magnification in the right light. Paid less than melt value for the lot.

Fills a hole in my SLQ folder!

The photo is way too dark for me to see or judge anything worthy of an intelligent opinion.

Yeah, it was so dark, I had to turn all the lights out in the room to see it, but it does kind of look like it to me. I've come across two of these searching junk lots in the last month, so it sure wouldnt surprise me.

1921-SLQ-Find?

I changed it up some. It is a bit blurry to fully make out the detail; but I would say it is either a 1921 or altered to look like one. Congrats! Kinda fun, isn't it?

Yes it is kinda fun.

Thanks for altering the pic.

I'll try to take another one tonight - with better camera/lighting. Under 10x magnification, the 2 and the 1 are both about 70% visible, so I'm nearly 100% positive its a 21. It fills a hole until I get a better version.

I have another junk lot on the way, with at least 2 type 1's in it based on the auction photo, paid about $2.78 a coin in the one coming, and for the lot with the 27D and 21, I paid $2.29 a coin.

Other coins from the lot that were easy to verify were: 2 x 1929, 2 x 1927, 1 x 1926D. Three full dates, all of those in G4 or worse condition though. I'll package them into a lot and sell them off soon. Everything else was totally unreadable, including two S mint coins and two more D mint coins.
