To NGC. I have accumulated a bunch over time, so we will see how the grades do!
Some were just for genuineness, others I hope to get a nice grade out of.
Cost me about $750 including postage + everything through my local dealer, so I sure do hope I get some nice grade outs on them...

Well. I just sent 25 into ANACS and postage and insurance was totaled 365 because I took advantage of the dollars and cents. I had 5 coins that didn't qualify for it. Included in that I had 8 VAMS attributed and 4 searched.Been almost a month but thats cool. They should be sent out on the 22nd to me.I can't wait.

Seems like your per-coin cost (~ $34) was on the high side. However, if the dealer is doing the paperwork and packaging for you maybe it's worth it. Hopefully they won't wait for weeks before they get around to sending them out!
Was there a particular reason you chose NGC?
Please post the coins and the grades once you get them back!

Yeah I agree Jaobler, however yeah they are doing the paperwork. They are not members of PCGS so this is why I went with NGC. It's kind of an experiment more than anything at this point...I've never done a major submission and I've had many of these coins sitting around for quite awhile.

Hey Shadow, you can join NGC for $104 and get five free submissions (a $150 value0 and submit the rest for $16 each in the Economy tier. Even counting postage and insurance that would amount to about half of what you are paying the dealer. Something to think about.

Some of the coins I didn't list problems for do have light problems, those are the ones I hope to luck out on. The dealer I go to has a pretty conservative grading ethic, and I have seen some ridiculous stuff in slabs I think should not have been, so we will see.

Is the $104 a lifetime fee or a yearly thing? I will consider it if it looks like I will be doing a lot of submitting in the future. Also some could not go on the economy tier, too expensive.

I have a dollar that "billy the kid" marked his initial "W" into the face of liberty for poker.

Shadow, if you just join the ANA you only have to pay submission costs, no membership. The membership cost me $20 for a youth(0-21 years I believe) and then $16 per coin.

Oh jeesh, I am definitely going to do that next time, but I'll probably wait until I build up some more tougher coins again...I am turning 21 soon though, so I'd better do it quick.

I looked on NGC's website https://www.ngccoin.com and it is $109/year. They also have a $39/year membership with no free submissions.

I also checked https://www.pcgs.com and they have memberships at $49/year and $129/year with 4 free submissions. Got me thinking about sending some of my buffaloes in

Yeah the no packaging/paperwork/everything is nice but this is definitely more viable financially, thanks for letting me know but at least from this experience I know how the system works much better, they explained everything pretty well to me.

Being a newbi I joined NGC on the $39 for a year program and find it very worth while. Submitted some 3 coins so far an am happy with their work and their web-site makes it super easy to submitt any coins. Very user friendly to boot, and to me, NGC is a little-bit-above the others. Again, thats just an opinion.
