I'm not much on these, but a definite improvement on my current one. How would ya grade this one? Sorry about the color balance. My new camera broke and this is the fall back.

I think this is the prettiest SLQ I have ever seen.

That's a dandy alright. I'm going to say MS65FH.

Very nice SLQ! Three criteria have to be present for FH designation. Three sprigs must be present as well as a clear ear hole. The hairline edge from the forehead down the side of the head all the way to the back of neck must be complete. I'd say MS64FH. Looks like you just picked this up yesterday at the bank

I would agree at least MS-64 FH, but it easily could be higher. Pics aren't big/clear enough for a more precise definition than that imho.

Yeah, could go higher a point or two. Closeups of the head would be great but the strike looks very nice. Is this in an NGC holder?

Unfortunately my camera can only get this close. I can rationalize it was either a new camera or this coin. I think you know the answer there. yup it is a NGC holder. They agree with the full head, but I think they missed the grade. Aladinslamp, it's on its way - WHoops - no address maybe next time

Fantastic coin. Congrats. Cameras will always be on sale at Best Buy or Wal-mart. FH SLQ's are much harder to find!

Very nice luster there! I agree with 64FH, and it is nicer than my 1930 type example:

I don't plan on selling anytime soon. Well unless someone offers crazy money. So do you think I should have it re-graded. I have not done this before - do I break out of holder or send in 'as is'. It was originally graded MS62 FH.

Although the value doubles (-ish) from MS62-MS64, I don't know if I'd recommend regrading. At least, not until it comes time to liquidate. To be honest, your pics are nice enough to indicate an MS coin but not detailed enough to really choose between MS62 and 64 with any certainty - there may be things we can't see limiting the grade. With that said, I think it's undergraded at 62.

62? Are there some distracting hits that aren't showing up in the photo?
