I have decided to sell of my entire collection except for a few pieces that I have deemed exceptional. Everything I'm listing today starts at 99 cents with no reserve and there's some real nice material. I have already listed dollars and halves from the 7070, and lots of modern silver and gold commems. These are No Reserve auctions, and doubtless there will be some deals to be made here. I'm still working on some pictures for some listings, but this will prove to be worth watching for lots of folks here.

Best of luck man! If there are any 'lower grade coins' which you are also getting rid of, please let me know before ebay. I am a YN on a budget, but I will do my best to make a fair deal

Thanks David.....I'm about halfway done. There are some lower grade selections coming up after I empty out the 7070. I am about 30 percent done listing coins from the Dansco right now....tons to do yet.

Thanks...I really appreciate the support. I'm trying to get to Dave Ramsey's "debt free" goal. I can see the light too! I just hope it's not an oncoming train.

Gosh, I guess I am surprised - you were actively buying just a few weeks ago. I am sorry to see you go. I will check out your auctions...

Best of luck,
Ken

I'm keeping the cream...and heaven forbid I see something that I can't resist. It's not complete retirement, just a reshuffling. I have decided that I'd rather have a few high power pieces than a whole bunch of material that becomes a liability every time I leave the house. If I can reach debt free status...I'll be freed from bondage. My living expenses will be cut by a whole bunch....which leaves a bigger budget for coins.

I guess the real pros are watching the 1877 seated half....but nobody wants to take that 99 cent plunge. Kinda funny...that one. It must have cooties.

Well that is good news - hopefully you will continue to post!

It's funny that you mentioned the 1877 Seated Half. I am one of your watchers...

Great. Yeah, I'll still be active here and elsewhere...but I'm just gettin' tired of that house payment. It's not like I haven't been making them for a couple decades now....but the payoff is getting to where it looks attainable.

Thanks all..........Chance

Out of curiosity, do you think you will take a loss or profit or maybe just break even on your Christmas Card SLQ?

I tried to get some of your auctions rolling... I'd LOVE to buy at my bid, but I know they will all go muuuuuch higher. Best of luck!

I think I'll recover my investment....and a bit more perhaps. The reality is that's a coin that somebody is going to dip....but it ain't gonna be me.

The 1917 type 1 I just listed is probably the most magnificent strike of that coin that I've ever seen...but some idiot wiped across both sides of the coin. It's as close to a perfect strike as I've seen.

Appreciate everybody's support.....really I do.
