Am I the only who has noticed that on many 80, 90' pennies Lincoln's lips look sort of duckie? I've noticed this for quite a while but haven't heard any one mention this.

I am unable to post clear pics of coins or else I would post at least one. Hopefully within the next several months I will be able to post decent pics.

here's a picture of a 1990 but I dont know if this is one like you are refering to or not but figured since you cant get a picture I figured I would upload thisen and you could try to explain what you are refering to if this shows the type you are talking about

Last night I got this penny as dime in change,what do you think its silver looking with a spot of copper on back.I am out 9 cents.
but has a die crack on resv?

It looks as if there are some spots of copper on some parts ir is that dirt. If it's not dirt it's probably copper(zinc?) That's my guess as a beginner. I'm sure someone else who is more knowledgable
will come along and comment on this penny.

Yeah it does, sort of. I just compared a 74D with a 2002D. I never really noticed it before. Guess I'm still trying to figure our why he's combing his beard with garden rake.

How can you tell just from the pictures Buffaloboy? The obverse/reverse has no noticable signals that could lead you to this aside from the color.
