Look at the bottom part of his hair on the back of his head, and the throat/bottom of the beard area. Maybe even his ear.

Looks like the result of excessive die polishing to me. Don't notice anything else.

That extra nub of hair seems pretty far out into the field compared to the other '92's I've looked at.
His throat area is more rounded and usually straighter. I don't think I got a very good shot of the lower part of his beard, I was in a rush late for work.

Scooby, if you look under his ear you will see a die clash from the bays on the reverse. The rest is just over polishing of the dies trying to remove the clash.

I agree. You can see three places where the bays are seen: Behing the neck, on the neck, under the ear, and under the cheek bone, just behind the mouth.
It was likely one of the "in jail" type clashes, and they polished as much as possible away, to hide the remnants. Nice find.
