If I have a $450 bill to pay and only at the moment have $400 in my PayPal account, but the rest is still in my bank account linked to PayPal, can I still go ahead and pay?

Yes, the remaining $50 will be deducted from your bank account, as long as your bank account is linked to your Paypal account.

If it is linked then you can pay the amount in full and it will automatically deduct from your attached bank account

Whenever making a PayPal payment you can also choose from which account the funds are to be drawn from... "Select Account".

So, you can select to pay with Credit Card, Bank Account or PayPal Balance. Typically, the primary account is Bank with the Backup account Credit Card as a typical PayPal account set up... with the PayPal balance at zero.

If no selection is made, the PayPal Balance is always deducted from... until that balance is zero, then the funds are deducted from the Bank Account. The Credit Card being required as more of a form of insurance...

I currently have 30+ auctions on the bay. Pay fees for nothing. I advertised for a coin-selling power seller, found a good one; and pay a flat 25%. I actually MAKE $$. Sold 500+ coins last month and didn't abide by the "triple whammy". Besides, by selling taking up ALL my time, I couldn't search as I like.
