Here's a great looking 1897S Morgan that came in the mail today. It has that MS-63+ look to me (which would be a great thing given the date). Your help in grading would, as always, be greatly appreciated. Paleoguy

I enjoy seeing Morgans from the San Francisco mint, they are well struck and always show nice luster in mint state. I would also grade this coin at MS-63.

Reverse cleaner than obverse. Typical strike. MS63.

I would lean more towards AU58. It looks like there is very slight rub on the chest... and the fields looks to me as though its more than bagmarks.

as good as any graded MS 63 out there in TPG holders....possible 64 though there is a lot of chatter in the fields/// MS63

Too many distracting marks in the fields for me to go 63.
I think that's a scratch at 3 o'clock, obverse.

So...how's MS 63 damaged sound?
