I've never VAM'ed before but I need to sell some Morgans for a friend and wanted to do a once over on the top 100. This was the only one that stood out. The right talon's claw doesn't extend past the olive branch. Anything at all or am I as confused by all this VAM stuff as I feel.

It's definitely a D2 reverse, all right. Are you sure it's Infrequently Reeded? VAM-44 is R-8 and very, very difficult to find.

The more I look at it the more I see the wide reading. I think it's just my eyes. It's the one on the right.

Now I can see that this doesn't look infrequently reeded. I've been sitting here turning the thing for half an hour and looks normal to me.

Without question, none of those are Infrequent Reeding. The difference is very plain to the uneducated eye, when one is stacked next to the other. Having seen one such set, you will likely be able to tell the difference on sight from that point onward.
