I got this from some coins my Grandfather had. This centavo appears to be UNC to me. I would like your opinions on it and what is its relative worth.

Thanks,

As a collector of Mexican coins and founder of the Mexican Coin Club, this is a coin and not a token. It's KM#415 and in UNC it retails for about $3-$5. If you have any questions on Mexican coinage let me know.

Congratulations, you are a Mexican Coin Collector!

I agree Uncirculated what number I don't know. I would be a little concerned about the greenish areas on the rev. Might just be the pictures but a dip in acetone probably would not do any harm. Perhaps Metalman will chime in with a grade as he likes Mexicans as well :-)

There is some slight wear on the eagles breast and right wing, along with some staining. Details AU-58.

Very nice coin - AU58 or better, in my opinion. fcrazo is on the money with the value.

It really is hard to grade this coin since I know that they were often not struck very well. So it may just be evidence of a poor strike that the eagle's leg and breast are a wee bit flat. I'll have to agree that this coin looks AU based upon the details but could quite possible be a low-MS coin.
