There are dealers that are good but you have to know what are the grade Ban,

I am also not good in grading,

If you are planning to buy 1s it is up to you but in comparison for the price on ebay or dealer on my own observation you can get coins cheaper on ebay in terms of price this is only my opinion I not into online purchase.

I more on to face to face so didnt really suppport my comment but there are some dealer I saw on dunloaire named cooke he have a lot of stuff on one of the antique fair there are mostly have dealer in each one.

Not yet into high denomination yet it is quite expensive.

Onced you buy most of your stuff to them somehow they gave you discount, but reallly have to know how to recognised the grade and if it is cleaned that was most of the european coins have.

IM a HE just have a feminine name ban.

i would prefer to buy online though, better selection, have your own time to think about purchasing, instead of being under pressure for the viewing eye of dealer if you get my drift. then again, buying from a dealer..you are not depending on a picture. I'm currently purchasing some old lady lavery notes, I would not buy these online, I would want to see them up close to determine their quality properly.
and your a guy....gotcha!

i know as a coin collector you cherish those irish coins like I would cherish australian coins! but I hope you didnt pay big money for the 2002 50c coin, its easier to get good grades than poor grades of 2002 coins here in ireland!
im gonna make a guess but that £1 coin is 1990? the largest mintage of them was in 1990, the year the coin was introduced. they werent minted every year, 1995 is also common along with 1998. the 1p coin is prob in the 80s or late 70s judging by its condition but I could be wrong.
just curious how much did you pay for them.
1974 of the 1ps are hard to get, iv only 1 of them.

Banjax, The one pound coin was a swap with Djluster and the 1p was also part of a swap, the 2002 50 cent was given to me by a friend. You are correct on the year for the one pound and the 1p is 1980. Thanks for the info.
