They are all nice, but the toning on that Franklin is especially attractive!
Rest in Peace

I've always liked Franklin halves. I don't really know why, I just do. Plus someone has to show Roosevelt some love. He seems to be just about the least popular coin series to collect. So I'd say you did just fine!

Thanks for the kind remarks. I really like the Franklin, the colors change as you rotate it in the light. It's almost hypnotic. the dimes are like little jewels. If you don't care about things like FB/FT (and I don't) these can be had for reasonable money. I'm about halfway there on a toned dime set. I'm not really building a Franklin set, but if I see a pretty one that's not too expensive, I'll take it!.

This one grabbed me because of the soft,muted envelope toning:

That's a good one too! Looks like it is in a PCGS holder.

Yes it is, MS65 IIRC. Bought from 'Bushmaster' on the PCGS BST. He told me this one was in a hoard of coins stored in paper envelopes for about 50 years- Franklins and Roosie dimes-- and they all had this kind of toning. A once in a lifetime thing to come across.

No rub on it, that's the lighting. and, FBL is a separate designation from the numeric grade. It is not FBL. As I said, MS65 IF I Remember Correctly (IIRC) and I might not be :}

nice, toning add anything to the grade? or that just personal preference on that? I'm all for the rainbows.
