Hi guys I need a pro opinion onthis coin. Hopefully you are able to grade according to these LQ images. Will post HQ later. Much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Coin Community, Sinho. Nice to have you here.
Grading is difficult from these small photos. With this series, one starts in the hair details on the obverse, an area with relatively little information presented in the pictures. The reverse looks rather nice from what I can see.

Sinho First Those pics do make it difficult so my assessment will be caveated. The coin appears uncirculated. The fields have a mint frost to them and look relatively free of marks. The only distracting mark I see is on Liberty's chin and that one may keep her from anything higher than MS63. What I can't assess is rub on the high points of the design. This would drop the coin to the high AU range if any rub is present. Look at the high points from a 45 degree angle and see if the luster is intact or if they appear shiny and smooth. Very nice double-eagle.

Thanks for a warm welcome.
I'm trying to learn a little about grading myself, not a pro though. Concerning grading my coin, fair enough, wasn't expecting an exact grade at all. Anyways, I intend to take some HQ pictures with the camera - these are done with a cell phone :) - when I get back from work. Do you have any suggestions regarding the shot angle, light, flash usage etc. that I should consider? My concern is upload of a big file, however...

Sinho,
We have a section dedicated to photographing coins. You should be able to find lots of pointers there and use the "search" function for specific topics.
There are two ways to post pictures here, CCF-hosted and web-hosted. If you use the CCF-hosted option (the add image icon below the post box), you'll have to keep pics under 100kb and use .jpg. There's no size restriction on web-hosted (imageshack, photobucket, etc.) but I'd recommend no larger than 300kb. Larger than that slows down the page upload and forces the viewer to scroll to see the entire image. Some folks won't take the time.
If you have any questions about posting pictures, just ask.

to CCF. Can you get a pic of the rim? The edge looks odd.

Wow. Big pictures are big. I'm left with the impression of a very slightly-circulated coin. Call it AU55. The gouge on the obverse, however, would preclude it being professionally-graded without qualification as "damaged," so its' value would not be a whole lot greater than melt.
