I have recently bought all 3 years (15 silver quarters), I got all these at spot melt + are in original cases so I'm guessing I got a good deal. Are any of the quarters in these sets worth more then melt? and what year silver proof sets would be the best to go with

Thanks,
Bryan

1999 are the pricey ones.....individual or Sets. Then the 2001 is second. The 2008 Silver Proof Set has some value to it too, beyond issue price. The other years should be pretty affordable.

thanks, I think I will just stick to the ones I can get around silver spot as I feel they will be worth more then the pre 1965 silver washingtons as they have lower mintages 800,000 to 1.9 million compared to the 10+ million average

Remember though that it's 800K to 1.9M of pristine coins versus 10M business strike that went into circulation.

A more accurate comparison would be to look at 1957-1960 proofs. There the mintages are comparable to the modern silvers. Do not include the premium paid for cameos on those early proofs. They are tough to find. Not like now where every proof is at least a cameo.
