$20/coin seems high, especially since he's probably checked for key dates already. I guess if you lowballed him a couple hours before his deadline you might be able to score a better deal since I bet he's desperate for money.

Good luck! If you could get it for $500-550 you should do ok on it. More so if it turns out some of the coins are in nice shape.

What are you gonna get for a common Morgan in VF.I'm just looking to get them at melt not to rip him off Super Dave.

Just be careful. I had one guy on craigslist trying to sell me a 1884 and 1885 Trade dollar, and if you think that I missed out there, I have a lovely bridge for sale.

$600, or $15 a piece, would be a good price. But going to the $550 range wouldn't be bad. $400 is a bit too low. Also, Morgans and Peace all carry a premium over spot.
