I:

see damage/clash(?) on the date

dont like the look of the obverse denticles at 9 o'clock.

dont like the sprocket denticles at 10 o'clock on the obverse. They appear to be completely sprocketed from front to back; yet, they dont appear that way on the reverse at 5 o'clock.

I have very little knowledge about these coins and have even less knowledge about the numerous Overton varieties.

It's a nice looking coin. The only problem I see is that it looks like someone attempted to drill a hole through it and than plugged it up. If it were me I wouldn't buy the coin for that reason.

Other than the stars running into the rim. I give up. I'm not familiar enough with these.

Repaired hole, and not (IMO) worth the asking price as a result.

Exactly! I was looking at this coin thinking, "hmmmm, this is kind of nice", until I saw the reverse bottom! OUCH! Is that a "PLUG"? My idea of a price for this coin just plummeted right on down to where I wouldn't buy it at any price. Too bad, too! It was a nice one.

The obverse was either very nicely repaired or the hole never made it all the way through.

And of course no mention of it in the description.

Caveat Emptor!

It doesn't look like the hole went through, guess the person had second thoughts about ruining and otherwise nice coin. Too bad the damage was already done.

I saw this last nite and thought about it till I saw that there was a plugged or or partially drilled hole, agree it is not worth what they are asking for because of this
