For some reason or another, the Scanner does not like to pick up the luster of this coin.

Wear in the hair and on the top of the ear, also wear on the bowtie. On the reverse I see some wear on the line of the right wheat stalk. I'm going to say VF-25.

I agree with atlas at AU details. The surfaces look a little odd to me, but I'm not certain they have been messed with.

This coin could be a sleeper with these pics. The scanner images are useless for grading as they hide too much detail. I enlarging the first pic, I do not believe I see wear in the hair or the tie. The scanner image of the obverse would tend to show a finger print but it seems too big and wonder if it is the scan. This could go anywhere from damaged and AT to MS. Need pics out of the holder with lighting on both sides of the coin.

I might be blind, but I don't see any wear. Other than that, it's not really possible to give a grade based on those pictures.

In My opinion this coin is not a matte proof , the inside rims on the matte proofs were very squared off and sharp not coved as seen on this coin.
