I keep my coins in a home safe and was running out of space with all the clam shell cases the proofs come in so I came up with this idea that some may laugh at but it works for me ..... jewelry cases!
I live in Ontario and pick them up at the dollar store for you guessed it, a dollar!
They hold 15 proofs perfect (3 rows x 5). I thought I would share in case this idea helps someone else out. I added the liners in between. I keep the original cases in a box (just not in my safe).
Looks like a near perfect fit, nice find. I don't generally chase after the mint stuff much, but when you see 5 silver dollars presented like that, they really are very nice. I especially like the flying loon.
