This 23 is pretty crusty, in hand all 4 numbers in the date can easily be made out, but this pic isn't so great.

The 24 isn't as nice as the one Johnny posted, but I'm thinking VG8 at least, if not VG10.

Thoughts?

I'm going to post album pics later - waiting for a couple of arrivals so it won't look so doggone empty! LOL.
Rest in Peace

They both look F-12ish to me. I love the look of the 1924 especially! The 1923 is nice too, as long as the black areas aren't beginning stages of corrosion(I can't tell from the pics). They both have a bit of a circ cameo thing going on which is very attractive imo, and both definitely look original.

afcop, here is my slq that has both black and green corrosion. The black is around the letters of liberty, and is raised on the surface/kind of pebbly looking.

I'm not sure if there is a treatment for corrosion that doesn't also strip off the original surface. Acetone only really helps with PVC from my understanding. Feel free to chime in anyone else on this...

I've been following BadThad's Verdi-Care thread - and will ask him his opinion. I just know he's gonna want more pics. (darnit)
