This is another coin in my mom's collection that I can't seem to find much info on. Can anyone tell me more about this coin?

From first glance I would say it is a medal. Does it flip top to bottom, or left to right.

Forgot to say welcome to the forum.

Here is a picture of a set of medals, I found with a quick online search. What is it you want to know about this medal?

Cool. Yes I would say based on your link that I do have a medal. I gather that its bronze not gold correct? Not sure what else I would need to know about it. Oh and it flips left to right. I should probably go research what that means. LOL Thanks for the info and the warm welcome. Everyone is so nice on here I might actually take up this numismatic stuff!

No problem ...
It is all fun .. seeing others coins and learning about them.

For U.S coins and medals. If you want to look at a coin, you always flip it top to bottom, for it to be right side up.

For a U.S medal, you flip it left to right, to look at both sides, right side up.

Yes I believe your medal is bronze. Plus there is no denomination on your medal .. if it was a coin it would say .. Quarter dollar .. half dollar .. etc. also would have .. "in god we trust"... and . E pluribus Unum
