Looks like a silver jeton. In France, jetons were authorized by the monarch with a few specimens struck in silver and gold, a well as the usual brass.

As for price, I don't really know - since they're not coins, they're not listed in the coin catalogues. All I can offer you is the CoinArchives search page; a search for "silver jeton" currently nets 35 hits, a search for "Louis jeton" 65 hits, many of which are silver.
