I believe that this one has a doubled profile and a 2 olive reverse. Am I right?

hmm maybe, is the stars on the left doubled and is any of the letters of In GOD We Trust doubled at all on the reverse and how about the mint mark does it show any doubling at all? the reason I ask these specific questions is those are the characteristics of the VAM-12 along with date set lower than usual and to the left, which I am not sure of either from the picture. But it looks more like the VAM-12 than the VAM-8 so if you can zero in on those locations it would be alot easier to verify if it is indeed a VAM-12 or not. Also focus on the doubled olive so I can see whats going on with it. One other thing, take a close up of the profile from the nose up because thats what the picture in the book shows and from you picture it looks like the doubling stops where the book shows it. Sorry for all the requests for pictures but I would rather be positive than give you a wrong attribution

You do have a 2 olive reverse and also a "near date" obverse. That will help narrow it down but unfortunately it is hard to see any other features like doubling from the images.

I have one in front of me and am having a hard time attributing it using a 12X loop and a QX5 Computer mircroscope.

There are several 2-olive and near date VAMs listed in the VAM Encyclopedia and it would have to almost be a process of elimination for this one. I wish I could have been more helpful.
