And if possible, can you give me a price on it? I found this one roll searching :D

I don't think I've even found an American cent this old and in such great condition...

It might make VF20. I don't have a trend report in front of me, but I'm guessing a buck or two.

It's a nice find though!

It's funny you mention finding old coins from Canada in rolls because I'm opening general rolls I wrapped in 1974 and I have found about 150 wheat cents in them among the Canadian pennies. I still have about 100 rolls to go so I expect I will find more. Oldest US cent so far is a clipped planchet Indian head. I should probably take a picture of it.

These coins have been out of circulation for 36 years so they are in decent shape really.

My point is I'm just amazed at how much coinage we pass and circulate through each others economies.

Ugly, You will find, that since the economy has gone to "POT", that people are digging into thiodse old jars, cans, boxes, etc, to get the change that thety normally just toss in there, when they return from a trip downtown. Doesn't really what the trip was for, it usually ends up with some small change, and into the jat it goes. To give you an idea as to what can be expected, some years ago I did just that, and for a year, didn't touch it. then I checked to see what was there. I found $80.00 in quarters, alone, plus all the smaller change. It does add up, and with the current situation, it is even more apt to be used. Checking cents by the roll. I found in four boxes that I bought, 23 rolls of 197X cents, 8 rolls of 196X cents, a dozen wheat cents, and 7 Canadian cents. There was also a coin from The Bahamas. Usually, I'll be lucky to find a dozen of the '60's, or '70's in a box, and very few wheats. I do find CAN. cents often.
BTW, anyone geard from DVCollector, lately? He liked the Provincial coins, and I hava a question about them, for him, if he id "lurking"

Speaking of people digging in to old coins. I was at a bank a few weeks ago buying boxes of nickels and the teller (a university student) started telling me how someone came in a few days before with 30 rolls of 1967 quarters, and like 15 rolls of 1967 dimes, amongst other old stuff, and just cashed it in. The teller thought they were neat and bought them - knew they were worth money, but he thought just a little bit. I offered him $1500 for the quarters and dimes on the spot, and he said he'd rather just keep them as collectibles.

Makes me sad to think that someone could have sold those quarters for $2000 - $3000 more than face, but didn't know better.

The quarters alone were worth around $3200.00
So I'd say it's a good thing he didn't accept your offer.
As for the coin in the OP, I would venture a grade of F-18
Not quite a 20, it's thought to grade because the light is reflecting right off a high point on the coin so it's near impossible to see any detail there.
