Thanks Halfwitty, it's hard to tell, But if those are FBLs, the ones I have are Definitely FBL, 'cause they're Much more pronounced

You are really only concerned with the last two lines of the bell.If the space between the 2 lines is sharp and full, with no flat spots or major dings you have a FBL.

SD, FBL's are apparent. I see a distracting mark on the reverse at the center of the bell(which is a prime focal area for this type of coin). Is this discoloration? Nice coin, congratulations.

its actually toning.. not sure if it was caused from a fingerprint? what else could cause toning there?

thanks for the FBL opinions! I'm very pleased. what about grade?

I'd give it a 62 or 63.

When I click to enlarge the 2nd reverse image, I see FBLs missing on the eastern-most part of the lower line on the bell.

I agree with j_h_s' MS63.

For what it's worth, there is not a standard definition of FBL. Even between NGC and PCGS, one of them considers both rows of lines, and the other one doesn't.

From my research, NGC looks at both sets and PCGS looks at the bottom sets only.

Not that it would matter on this coin, it appears to be FBL by either criteria, IMO.

Depending on how it looks in hand, strength of luster & the discolorations on the reverse, I could see MS64

jhs.. I do see that blemish to the eastern most part of the lower lines. it doesn't look to "smash" the lines... lines still look complete

If the circled area is only blemish/staining, I'll go with FBL.
If theyre dinged...both lines are impacted.
