first off kindof new and lookin for educated opioions. possible 1983 DDO and 1959 d/d . also weres a good place to find a 1984 DDO ear penny? other then ebay. all the first party graders really ruining ebay.

Its somewhat hard to tell from your photos but I think the 1983 exhibits MD. You may want to check coppercoins.com and see if your coin matches up to the DDO's they have on there.

I dont see anything going on around the MM on the 59-D

The 1983 is Machine Doubling. I don't see anything at all on the 1959D.

the 83 isn't machine dbl. it exhibits definiate letter thickness with what look lick lines running tho them. my thinkin is maybe it got that way from being compressed and the letters are squished. I mave much higher res photos but these are @ the size limit. let me maybe upload to a photo bucket account or something

Okay, let me clarify. The 1983 is DEFINITELY nothing. If the coin in the photo is the coin in question, the thickness you see isn't there, and the shelf takes up half the normal thickness of the letters. That's Machine Doubling.
