I was looking over this Morgan I put on ebay and after I saw the pictures I think I'm seeing clashed die marks. This is not a very good picture but I think you can make out some of them. Or am I seeing things. Theres a mark on the left wing going straight up where the big and small feathers meet, but I cannot see it in the picture.

Even though I can't see it in the photo, what your describing is the clash mark of Liberty's neck where the feathers meet bu "In" of In God We Trust. Here is a photo where you can see that clash. As a general rule, its when you have clashed letters is when VAMs are attributed to those clashings.

TLS5933 check the obverse and if it has a line going from where the chin meets the neck (from the eagles wing) then it has clashes somewhere on the reverse. EVERY morgan I have ever seen with clashing anywhere has that one mark on the obverse!

Does clashing make the coin worth more?

well sometimes, it definately makes it more interesting. Susan has a 1884-CC GSA Morgan on ebay that has the most clashing I have ever seen on a GSA morgan for that year

The mark that should be on the obverse just isn't there. Strange because three of the marks that show up on the reverse are there. Maybe its nothing.

I dont see any in the pictures but that definately doesn't mean there isn't any there. I have to say I have never seen a morgan with clashing that didn't show the characteristic I mentioned in my other post though, and have talked with other morganites and they say they havent either

What DOES appear obvious to me is the top feather of liberty's head is showing in the photo between the E and D of ONE DOLLAR MM

If the obverse die is changed out after the clash, but not the reverse, only the reverse of coins struck after the change will show clashing. It's not that uncommon, especially if the obverse was clashed hard enough to break it.

It's no biggie, I was just wondering. The small crack straight up on the left wing going towards and between the "I" and "N",you can actually see where the metal is bent down on both sides of the crack under a 10X loupe. Thanks All.
