Hello,
I came across this coin today and noticed some unusual(?) markings on the back. I am somewhat new to coin collecting and am still learning the "lingo".

I noticed a few things on the back of this 2000 penny - a mark below the bust that looks a little bit like an arrow, another mark coming from the neck line on the left and the absence of a bead above the T in Elizabeth.

Are any of these marks significant?

Thank you for any input!
Jaime

To the Forum, miawanis..

You have post mint damage on your coin, ask questions, and someone will help you out.

Enjoy the Forum.

Thank you both!
It's amazing what kind of damage shows up on a scan that is not viable to the naked eye. Are missing beads along the circumference commonly seen? (And is "bead" the correct word)

probably the die was filled with possibly cleaning fluid- I have some questions with the mint right now about that.
