People try to send me these attached to my e-mails (what's on the obverse, anyway). But yours is way cooler.

Great coin (and nice picture too). What is the significance of the stylized sun?

"INSANLIGIN KULTUR MIRASI TRUVA" is "World Cultural Heritage Troy".

"Insaligin kultur mirasi" means "Humanity's cultural heritage" (not the World's)

In the present day, the ancient city of Troy, or at least what's remaining of it is within the borders of a province called "Canakkale" in Turkey.

Sorry really saw the topic way lot later than I should :)
