What VAM and grade would you guys give to this 1878 Morgan. After searching VAM World, I thought maybe a VAM 12, but then something didn't correspond, and in then end, I was just going round in circles getting a headache, so in the end I'm picking the easy option, "ask the experts"

The die chip in lower loop of first 8 and large added feather on left leg lead me to believe this is VAM 17. As for grade, eyes are not good enough to give an opinion from pictures.

Looks like a lock to me, as well. AU Details - I see the disturbing hallmarks of brushing in the usual northwest-southeast direction on both faces.
