Hey guys I posted a while back and am starting collecting coins again I tried earlier but was more into baseball cards and other things so now I am back...I like silver and my uncle used to run a store and he heard I was coin collecting and he said if I was serious he had something for me if I would take care of them and sort them...I was surprised to find an old bank bag yesterday he left for me and inside I counted out 626 silver quarters and 351 silver dimes they are all circulated since he has saved most of them that people actually used over the last 50 years at his store..I am overwhelmed with silver now lol I am gonna go through them and sort out the years and try to piece out a set of at least the common dates..ok well gotta run thanks for the group here

A nice uncle indeed.I havn't made my mind up to silver quarters, but I do hang onto my silver dimes. Is there anything else you might be interested in collecting? It is such a thrill to search through bags of coins,at least I think so,and the fact that your uncle gave these to you is very special.If/when you complete a set,you will find it is very rewarding.Good luck to you,and your new adventure :)sn31.
By the way..Welcome to the forum!!

Congrats on your bounty!

Once you survey what you have and need, perhaps we can help each other finish our sets. Please see my trading thread: https://goccf.com/t/6356

wow nice. Now not only do you have coins to search through, but the duplicates that you DON'T need for your set can be set aside as a silver investment or trading material.

Make sure you check for those 1932 d and s mint quarters. You've got quite a bit of silver, so the cull duplicates can be sold for their silver value.
