Some Constantines as far as I can tell. I really like that large Constantine? Is that a soldier spearing a fallen soldier? Very cool!

Which ones are Constantin? Also, which Constantin are they? Constantin I, Constantin II or somebody else. I have big trouble sorting out the members of Constantine dynasty.

It's much easier for me at least if you post one or two coins at a time. a few appear to be Constantinus II and Constantinus Gallus, I also see Gallienus, Claudius II, Diocletian, Aurelian, Constantine I and Gordian III

Ok. I shall post better images tomorrow. I really want to have them sorted. For example, I do not want to sell Aurelian, Claudius II and Constantinus Gallus.

All the coins that you have been posting are in very nice cleaned condition. If you did the work, you did and excellent job. You also must have a good source for these in your part of the world.

Quote: All the coins that you have been posting are in very nice cleaned condition. If you did the work, you did and excellent job. I agree - you've posted some real nice ones. As echizento has already pointed out the first 4 are: Gordian III - With a bull and a lion on the back representing Legions IV and VII who were stationed in Viminacium where the coin was minted - worth around $40US AD 239/240ish. Claudius II Gothicus - With Victory on the reverse AD 268/270ish. Gallienus - With I think Laetitia on the reverse AD 245/255ish. Elagabalus - I think, cant make out the reverse so not certain. The last 3 are: ? - need a better picture Diocletian - With I think 'VIRTVS' and Mars on the reverse Aurelian - Cant make anything else out. All the others are Constantine and his clan but they are in nice condition and you have some very good examples of 'fallen horsemen' being speared.

I would like to say I did the cleaning however it is not so. Somebody else cleaned them. Anyway, I found a few coins more so I shall make good picture of them all and post them on another thread.
P.S. What is so special about the fallen horseman reverse type?

There are worth keeping-nice shape-the values are about $10-20 and will appreciate over the next few years.Heat them up to 250 in the oven and seal them with museum wax/wipe them off. Then put them in individual Saf-flips.These are the coins you get in uncleaned lots nowadays-200-300AD.
