The first one, definitely fake. Mintmark wrong, date wrong....I'm not sure its even an altered genuine coin

Second one looks fishy too, I say its also fake. I'll report them when I wake up tomorrow.

Looking at the dates on each is sufficient. Poor, cheap fakes.
Rest in Peace

Just checked back on ebay, and the 1889CC is doing well, it has 21 bids and is now at £310, which equates to about $460 with 2.5 days to go, and the 1895s is at £82 ($120)

ShadowCreator reported these, and they were supposed to be removed after 3 days? I just hope no one gets stung with these

How are sellers allowed to get away with this, even after being reported

1889 CC Morgan went for £981.68 about $1423, 42 Bids. In the options it states: forgeries do not BID

and the

1895 S went for £436.47 about $632 28 Bids and in the options in this one it states: fergeries are being removed (their spelling not mine)

Does this mean that someone bought these coins? knowing that they are forgeries, or didn't they read the small print, or were the coins removed after the bidding?

On both is states that returns are not accepted

How can anyone look at that date and not be suspicious.
Then go to google images and look at some real ones.
Then check with the good folks on this site.
Almost 1500 bucks? Do a little research.
