I joined the ANA in 1961, but still have never attended a convention. Unless something comes up, I'll be there. It would be great to meet other CCF members there!!!! Edited by Gary Burke

Spousal Unit. I love it!!!! Only problem is we'll be in Denver Auigust 12 for the Mesa State College "Night With The Rockies" (baseball), and then back to Denver later in the month for a 50th anniversary party for a friend. Each trip to Denver costs about $90 in fuel alone. So, funding may be my downfall. On the other hand, if I don't attend this ANA function, I probably never will. So, I do plan on being there. Gary: Our Air Fare is going to be cheaper than driving (well almost). Only a little over $200 for 2 of us round trip! Our car rental will probably be more than the air fare. Thank goodness we have many choices of a place to stay for free. Home Sweet Home here we come. Visit now - returneth to stay soon! See you at the show I hope. What day are you planning on being there? We're looking at possibly Friday the 18th.

I would love to go but we planned that Kenya trip then and hopefully when I "get" my family to go to the states, I'll make sure they go during one of the coin shows, it'll be my first.

Ya, Even though Colorado is one of the closer states to where I am in Canada, there is no chance of driving or flying...
Mabye someday though...

Deb: I need to be planning, but even though I'm an ANA member for 45 years, I'm ignorant as to how to proceed. Are there fees? Due to newspaper sports obligations, Saturday through Monday won't work. So, would guess it would be Friday. Any information you can share with me, please e-mail to me. Edited by Gary Burke

FREE ADMISSION and really easy to get to for those that don't know Denver. It's on 14th St. I believe there is a Hyatt Hotel across from the Center now. Can't miss the Convention Center though...well, you could consider most of Denver's Downtown Streets are one-way streets! fyi: 16th Street is not a street..it's for foot traffic, the Regional Transportation System Bus/Mall Shuttles and Mounted Police/Vehicles. Watch out for the Light Rail also. |

I would love to go, If I have the money after, buying this new house and coming backfrom visiting the parents and inlaws etc a stop in maryland to visit brother in law.. didnt get a chance to check out coinshops but did go to an etremly overcrowed chucky cheese in Baltimore.. uh Yeah lol.
