I found this interesting... "Unsearched" but all "Full Date"... how do they know they're all full date unless they've looked at them?..

http://cgi.ebay.com/UNSEARCHED-ROLL...ES_W0QQitemZ a href= https://www.coincommunity.com/go/link.asp?target=https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/270569025041 target= _blank rel= nofollow 270569025041 /a QQcategoryZ11953QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m8QQ_trkparmsZalgo=MW&its=C&itu=UCC&otn=20&ps=63&clkid=8096671198728017753

Still, probably not an unfair price if they are what they say they are...

You just have to love that logic.

Of course, the gratuitous visible Liberty nickles add to the magic.

Looking at them doesn't you've searched them. If all you did was check to separate the full dates from the partials without checking mintmarks they are still "unsearched". He might have even have had someone who doesn't know coins and who wouldn't know a good one from a common do the date checking. So it is possible.

Unsearched probably means the seller didn't stop to count the legs ...

What percentage of the "unsearched" coin rolls on ebay do you think actually are.
I'm thinking less than 5%. if there are any!

"Unsearched" Sure, just like the wheat cents, 1909 on one end and a Indian Head on the other.

I do have to agree, Seem a bit oxymoron-ic. "Unsearched, but I know whats inside, so, kinda searched..."

I wrote a whole big long story here a couple years ago about a legitimate unsearched horde of coins I went through for my aunt. My uncle had hidden them from her in the ductwork of the house for years back in the late 50s and 60s and we found them when he died a few years ago. Even though they were truly unsearched, they were plain old ordinary coins with almost no collector value. There was lots of 90% silver, but nothing rare or UNC. The most interesting thing I found were some 1955 Roosevelt dimes. So...the chances of these lots you see on ebay being truly unsearched? Slim and none...and Slim left town.
