I found this in a bucket of world coins I bought. I thought it was an interesting coin to find. Here is a picture.

I am going to guess that it is a fake. I'm sure someone else with more expertise will chime in on this.

I have a set of continental coins (copies) in a frame, that is just like that. Is there an edge seam?

these are one of the series that I think there are more copies than the real thing. I don't know how many were actually minted at this time but I know I have probably seen 20-30 fakes to every 1 real one (matter of fact I can only remember seeing one of these that was actually certified as real)
