What Makes This Lincoln A Bronze Color?

Hi all can you tell me how this 1963 lincoln got to be such a shiny bronze color. I know from the date that they are .0950 copper and .050 zinc but this is the first bronze color I've seen. The actual coin is much brighter and has alot more shine (making it look almost mirror like) than in the pictures.

Hi erratic

The 60's cents are some of my favorites, I have seen many coins that look like yours ,, I'm convinced that it is environmental conditions that causes some of these coins to just turn that beautiful bronze color.

I've always wondered about that myself. I always hold on to those because look really nice and the stamping is pretyy neat too. Thanx for sharing that information.
