I admit I know next to nothing about paper money (other than how to spend it! ).

I got a series 1996 $100 star note out of circulation the other day. It's in typical circulated condition and has some graffiti on it.

Is there any premium above face value to these star notes? I suspect there probably isn't especially considering its condition, but I thought I better ask anyway before I send it back into the wild!

If there's writing on it, it's basically worth $100.
