I picked this up off ebay, just because I don't have a 1904s, didn't expect to win it as I only paid £17 for it, that's about $24. what do you guys think on the grade, and did I pay over the top for it? as the Red Book only starts from VF grade, I'll have a stab at G4? weight 25.85g

I would say that this coin is right on the edge of AG-3 ang G-4, I'm going to say it just makes G-4. I think you over paid a little on this one.

I agree that the details are G04. The coin looks cleaned so I wouldn't have paid over $20 for it. Greysheet Bid is $25 in VG.

Still for $24, if it's coin you wanted, that is not a bad price.

The Eagle's Feathers have more detail than an AG-3 would, but the rim is merging with the lettering. I'll go with Borderline AG-3/G-4

Pocket it, and leave it there for a year or two. FR02 is the lowest-known grade for this coin, there are only 7 of those, and if you can get it into an FR02 slab, it will skyrocket in value for a PCGS Lowball Registry competitor.
