I have a couple pictures, I suspect it is two coins fused together, but is barely thicker than either an Elizabeth II Del Gratia Regina F.D. Penny, or a Kennedy half dollar. It looks as if there is a line on the side of the coin where the two may be joined....

I had a magic trick called "scotch and soda" like that years ago my Dad got for me. The Kennedy was hollowed out and once you placed the Elizabeth coin underneath it would "magically" disappear. The thing is on the opposite side of the Elizabeth is the missing part of the Kennedy. It had a special ring that you sit the coin on to tap the false coin out.

I'm pretty sure that's what you have. They just put the Kennedy insert backwards.

Just google "scotch and soda magic trick" and I'm sure you will find it.

Ah....I see, I'm not a coin collector, but my brother-in-law found it in a house he's cleaning out for a real estate company and it was with a bunch of silver coins and canadian/mexican coins. Guess it'll be a nice magic trick anyway
