I have waited for nearly a week, there is still no further comments on the thread. Before I retire from this thread, I would like to give you some information from the coin book and jump to a temporary conclucion for my investigation.

Information from 2nd. Ed. "Coincraft's 1997 Standard Catalogue of English & UK Coins 1066 to Date" Page 479:There is a table for 'Gothic issue'

There are 10 issues for the Gothic Crown, I show the first two type:

1st: VGCR-060 UNDECIMO (this is the most common type and I would guess the mintage 8000 was for this type). My COIN B belongs to this category.

2nd: VGCR-065 UNDECIMO
PROOF in fine silver, heavily frosted; rev.â†' (indicates medal alignment of the coin)
P.S. Struck at a much later date as Mint Visit presentation pieces.

I would conclude my COIN A belongs to the second category.
Before further comments of this coins, I now believe both of my coins are genuine.

There has been much discussion here about the origins of the counterfeits and the simple fact is that most do originate from China. If you want to see more of them, look no further than aoktrade365's completed listings where you will find you are spoilt for choice for counterfeits and of course, all the active listings are counterfeits but you will see the 1847 Gothic crown and the 1864 florin.

I hope that ebay will consider suspending this crook permanently.

With regard to aoktrade365's sales I think the text advising not to leave Negative or Neutral feedback but just get a refund would start warning bells ringing for me. No wonder he has 100% feedback!

ebay, although they say differently, are only interested in one thing, their ebay and Paypal fees. They'll never wipe out all fakes and forgeries on their site; it's just plain impossible as it's to easy to set up accounts. As soon as someone gets banned they just start up selling under a different ID.
I'd be wary of buying coins on ebay although I use it for a variety of other goods.

aoktrade365 had built up a high feedback rating through his nefarious activities but despite this his account has now been permanently suspended by ebay.

This presents him with considerable difficulties because unless he has another account with accumulated feedback, he will have to start again and a zero-rated Chinese seller is now exposed, conspicuous and likely to be shut down quickly by ebay.

Very glad to hear that Lapidary2; I did notice that he had no current listings. Looking at his Completed items it looks as though a lot of people have lost a lot of money. :(

So this is basically for andyg. As was stated by azda I think it was, roydinsdaleuk was selling 1864 flroins with die 64 which were fakes. You (andyg) then stated that he was alienating a nation by saying they were CHINESE fakes..........Well check the link out underneath, also observe where they are originating and maybe send an apology to azda, it's the least you can do.

Thank you andyg, I have to admit that my COIN A is fake. This seller is obviously selling all counterfeit coins. By probability, this Gothic Crown on his hand can't be real. Henry
