I found a heavily worn Wheat penny last night with part of its date worn off. It is listed as 192X with a mintmark. Is there any way to help me identify the year?

What's the mint mark? Got a picture?

It's VERY rare to have the date worn off a Lincoln, it's a low point in the design. If the date is worn off, the coin would have to be AG or less. Chances are it's a worn die, poor strike or Grease Filled Die.

The last digit of the date is completely gone. The Mint mark is visible but ineligible. I will take pictures and post then this evening.

Now that I'm looking at these scans I wonder if it is actually 193x and not 192x.
So what's the verdict on this coin? I still think heavy wear

In hand it still looks like 192x but in the pics through the loupe it looks like 193x. My wife agrees about 192x in hand too.
However now I'm more interested in that die crack!
