IMO, it had AU details but the obverse scrubbing takes it way down to VF30.

Just IMO.

Is that because the details were "scrubbed" off or because the obverse is covered with hairlines?

IMO this coin is ungradeable due to the severe polishing of the obverse. There are not just hair lines but gouges present. Sorry to be so harsh, it would have been a nice coin if someone hadn't messed with it. Worth only melt.

I'm afraid he took the words right out of my mind when I saw these pictures......its sad, but only melt to me....cleaned would have been one thing, but the brillo pad just went to far....Melt...G
