Picked up a new addition today. Wasn't sure of its attribution, but noticed the clashed dies so I gave it a whirl. It is a MS63 National Certification Institute photograde done in 1986. I am leaning towards the VAM1F due to the ear markings, counter clash at neck, and US in the hair junction. Liberty's profile is lightly clashed on the reverse l/s and may be hard to see. I could not make out a transferred M above GOD. See what you think. nlp

Edited: I just found the faint M above the D. Has to be held just right to see.

from the ear and neck photos, I think its a lock on the VAM 1F try to get some photo's of the US as its back in the Hair Vee, and usually not seen unless its been some what polished..the photos are for us to see an unusual clashing of an rotated orientation, usually they show up in the hair vee, not up the hair vee....Nice find!!
