I opened a roll of 2000 P Sacawea (the computer correct me to Sacagawea) They all has ugly water spots. I found 5 of them has something look like a fine "scratch" they all look exactly same at the same spot. To me, a scratch is recessed down, these are protrude out from surface. Is that Die crack? I know I should send photo, but at this time I still photo illiterate. I could send regular photo, not reduces the pixel or something like that. Will that add value (I hope)?

Samuel, pics are necessary. Have you tried photobucket? Web search it, join it (it's free), and you can upload any size image you want to it, then post the link to the album here.
Sounds like it could be cracks or chips. I would love to see pictures.

Samuel From what you are saying, it sounds like it could be a die crack. I have found a few rolls of State Quarters, where there would be several coins with small die cracks. And I agree would be nice to see a picture of one of these coins. I have a Sacagawea Dansco album, I think they are a nice set to collect. J H S It seems strange ... odd .. that for someone that talks down on modern coins .. even starts a thread about how much he hates modern coins ...would then write that he would "love" to see pics of a Sacagawea dollar?

Another thing that I realized about the edge lettering of 2010 Sacagawea, they are not printed at the same "direction". I noticed when I stacked the coins face up, some of the lettering are upside down. I opened 1 roll, they all have bag marks. Not a single clean one.

Goldrush... Please re-post where I ever said I HATE modern coins. You cant; because whatever umbrage you took (about that thread) likely included some personality conflict that dramatized that thread, which I do not think is appropriate on this forum.
I'm a Numismatist since 1963 or 4 (I forget; I'm old). I collect coins. I have more Sacs than I care to shake a stick at.
To close; I'm not prescient; but, I do sense resentments amongst and between some members of this forum. Fortunately, 99% of the time, we're all mature enough to remember where we are...cyberland; where it is precarious, if not unproductive to deduce (or opine)much about personalities we've never met.
This aint a chat room.
Have some respect for others and this forum if you dont have any for me.

Samuel, the edge lettering is applied as a separate process. 50/50 chance of them being in either direction.

I bought another 2000P from my Bank in Southern California. Somebody just return 2 rolls plus 2 rolls (D) Washington in front of me. He bought them in the past, brought to the Philippines for his wife family, they thought hey are quarters, no body want it, brought back and sitting in the garage for almost 10 years. He is cleaning up his garage. He turn around, and I saw that on the counter, grab them right away. He saw it and came back talked to me. I told him, I will help him to clean up if you have more. The first was open, I took the rest. At home, I open it, almost all good, few bag marks. To my surprise they all has "Die crack" at the same spot. A hair line, I think it is not suppose to be there. The majority 2000P didn't have it. I have to try to post a picture over the week end. I don't know if it shows. I can see it using 20x21mm illuminating magnifier.
