Nice example of VAM56. Inner ear is doubled slightly on the obv. The date has a radial crack from the dentils through the top loop of the 8 and ends in the hair lines. This wasn't mentioned along with the light wreath clash behind bonnet. That appears to be only evidence of a clashed die. The arrow shafts and olive branch have the die gouges on the undersides. Does the radial crack mean anything? nlp

nlp, I see nothing about the crack that would cause LVA to assign a separate VAM #. Unless cracks progress into die breaks, they are just an accepted part of the coining process.

I would have to agree, its not listed as an attribution feature, if one were to be found with A die break there, then you could probably claim the EDS if that new VAM...
