Thanks Snowman. I wasn't going to say anything, but I was pretty sure the pictured coin was not the coin I received. I think I'll contact the seller and see if he'll accept a return. Just after I bought this one another one came up on E-Bay from a seller I have used in the past. I went ahead and purchased that coin.
This coin has an interesting history. Shortly after it was issued Panama broke from Grand Columbia. This made this coin somewhat rare. What I really can't understand is how the Waterbury mint over-struck an 1885 coin when producing the 1886 coin since the primary business of Waterbury was planchet production. Maybe some in CCF knows the story.
