I pick out some uncirculated (or AU copper) pennies while I roll search as I know some others do on this forum, so I wondered, have you ever tried selling them for a premium? Same date, mixed dates? I've already picked out some of my best 2009s and have 4 rolls (3 with the presidency thing and 1 with the log cabin.) I imagine since they are new, they are easy to find in this condition, but possibly still have some "year old" interest with the new reverses? Think I could get $1.00 a pop? Also what about older years? could you sell coppers in "AU" rolls?
Sorry for the overload on questions. Just wondered if keeping these are worth my time.

I'm not selling mine but I sort them by date and mm and put them in coin tubes. But if you want to sell yours I think it will be better to mix them, more people would be interested to buy a roll of mixed dates and mm especially when starting album or folder.

You might sell a few at that price. Here in eastern NC they are going for $.50 each.

You can sure sell for the multiple time of each face value ($1 up to $3 per roll) if they are in OBR (original Bank Roll) and you can do a search in Google and on ebay.

I buy copper LMC BU/OBR rolls for about $3 each. The zinc LMC are cheaper. Regardless, I think you should save all those BU coins and put them in coin tube by date/mm. It's better to keep track that way and also easier to sell too (mix roll will not carry much premium vs. full roll of same date/mm) - people buy rolls to build rolls set.

Just my 2cents.
