Hi all,
Curious about this one! Possibly a RPM? What you think?

It looks like Machine Doubling to me. Howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwever; can you take as close-up of image d-5 as d-3 and d-4 are? I'd like to see that "tail" on the "D" a little closer.

I agree on the Machine Doubling. The NW edge of the mint mark was probably higher on the coin and got distorted during the ejection process. The overall look of the mint mark is the same was normal and no marks inside the mint mark like you would expect to see on an RPM.

Note on this RPM the rounded RPM and the loop in the center. This should be present on a RPM.

I don't see it on your coin. I just see Machine Doubling damage on the mint mark on the West edge of the upright.

Thanks, Moonshine...I still cant figure out the marked difference between the images that solidly look like Machine Doubling and that one image where the "D" tails down below the "D" with no serif from which it doubled.

That'll be a new MD style to me if that's what it is.

I say keep it and continue asking the more-expert collectors until enough say it what it is.
